Hi, my name is Mike Andes. I'm the founder of Homeworks. I've owned a home service business for over twenty years now. I started with a push mower when I was eleven years old. See, every home service business without exception is comprised of three departments. Sales, get the work, operations, do the work, admin, get paid for the work. Those are the three links inside of the homeworks chain. If one of those links is weak, growth does not help you. It breaks the system. We've all heard the phrase, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. More leads with a poor sales system creates a bunch of overhead and a bunch of waste. More crews with bad operation systems creates chaos and more phone calls with bad admin systems creates unhappy customers. Homeworks was built to strengthen all three links together. The owners who get the most value I consistently see are doing usually between two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in annual revenue to three million dollars in annual revenue. Now, if you're gonna, if you're planning on staying solo forever and not having employees, this is probably not the right tool for you. And if you're doing over eight million dollars in annual revenue, it's probably more of a custom system and tool that you're looking for. There are a bunch of expensive platforms built specifically for that. Now I want to be clear. There is no shortage of software in this industry. There's ServiceTitan, HousecallPro, Jobber, Service Autopilot, Aspire, LMN, the list goes on. Some of them are really solid tools, but tools are not the real problem. Incentives are. Most of the major software companies in this industry are controlled by private equity or venture capital. That changes everything. It's actually the reason why I started Homeworks to begin with because founders sell their equity, control shifts, support gets cut, product development and innovation slows down and prices go up. And you don't feel it all exactly at once, but you feel it over time. Because to them, you are not a business owner they care about.
